Held to standards you can check, not badges we printed

Damp proofing is unregulated enough that anyone can call themselves a specialist. These are the schemes, standards and codes of practice our work is measured against.

What that means in practice

Four commitments behind the registrations

01

Diagnosis to recognised guidance

Surveys follow industry codes of practice for the investigation of dampness in buildings — readings taken at multiple heights, hygrometric conditions recorded, and salt contamination distinguished from free moisture before a cause is stated.

02

Specification against BS standards

Remedial damp-proofing, structural waterproofing and timber treatment specifications reference the relevant British Standards, including grade of waterproofing protection appropriate to how the space is used.

03

Health and safety on site

Method statements and risk assessments are produced for works involving dust, biocides, working at height or confined spaces, and our teams work in appropriate PPE as a matter of course.

04

Insurance-backed guarantees

Installations are covered by an insurance-backed workmanship guarantee that transfers with the property, so cover does not rest solely on our continuing to trade.
